SLC Conference 2023 -tickets available now!

Following the success of last year's event, we are back in Derby and once again have an excellent line-up of guest speakers.

The event will take place on 15th November in Derby, Pride Park.

As The Building Safety Act 2022 is an important topic for many conveyancers Ian Quayle will be taking us through this subject.

We will have a lenders' perspective on the BSA, an insurers view and we will be discussing limitations within the Ts&Cs.

Mental health is another important topic and we will have presentations tailored for Conveyancers from different speakers helping to deal with the stress at the work place.

Matthew Hill, Chief Executive (Legal Services Board) and Paul McFadden, Chief Ombudsman (LeO) will both give updates, and Lauren Watson (UKLTA) will talk about AI.

We have prepared dedicated breakout sessions for students with John Jones, an SLC Board member.

We are delighted that Kate Faulkner OBE will host again this year.

There will also be an informal dinner after the conference with a drinks reception and entertainment. It is always a fun evening and we hope you will join us. Dress code is smart/party dresses.
